Posters | Explore degrowth

A group of students (Romeé van Haaften, Lana Rea Rhodes, Amira Perfors and Indy van Arkel) from the University of Amsterdam, who are also members Ontgroei (external link) (the Dutch Degrowth Network) made some truly beautiful degrowth posters and slogans for their Dare to Degrow Campaign.

Their posters feature themes of sustainability, respect for nature and a sense of community as well as giving critique on capitalism, technology and consumerism. Through distributing a hundred posters in Metropole Amsterdam, they aim to raise awareness, increase exposure, and encourage involvement with movements aligned with degrowth theory.

These amazing posters were created by Degrowth Copenhagen (external link), an international forum of individuals who share degrowth values and a degrowth vision.

These posters were made for a poster storm action which aimed to raise awareness about degrowth. These posters are meant to highlight unconventional or non-mainstream policies/actions that are true and powerful climate solutions

These powerful posters were created by the Degrowth Collective, (external link) a welcoming, respectful, and empathetic online community focused on grassroots degrowth organizing and dissemination of degrowth that supports the formation of new degrowth groups and collectives worldwide.

These posters were meant to be actionable and propose radical policies to make people stop and think. They were put up all over the streets of Toronto and led to many members joining the Degrowth Collective.
